This book was only slightly amusing as it seemed to be a less funny, older version of Ambrose Bierce's The Devil's Dictionary.
I normally like the more sarcastic answers in joke dictionaries, and this one just had a chuckle here and there.

The Foolish Dictionary is my favourite ebook. I daily go through it whenever I want to amuse myself or looking for words to make others laugh. Inspite of the interpretations of the words being funny on the surface, the interpretation is also very true, if you will think deeply about for a moment. I find funny and strangely true, an interpretation as of below:
=PHILANTHROPIST= One who returns to the people publicly a small percentage of the wealth he steals from them privately.
I highly recommend recommend this ebook.
