I had heard the title of this book but had never read it, but downloaded it for my eBook reader. I was amazed at the sophisticated humour in a book written in 1836. It is a rollicking tale with much to make you smile. I shall now more of Marryat\'s books in the hope they are as good. Thoroughly recommended.
