Mother is a very short work, only 7 chapters, but it is profound. As an intimate look into family life and motherhood, Mother is a beautiful and intricate story that paints the struggles and victories of motherhood, as well as that those of young women brought up in a feminist, anti-family, materialistic culture. Just as relevant as it was when it was written in 1911, Mother is honest, poignant, and in the end, one of the most beautiful stories ever written on family.

I love this book! To Have and to Hold is a sadly forgotten epic in the classic adventurous vein of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Its wonderfully old-fashioned: Ralph Percy, its hero, is noble and selfless, Jocelyn Leigh, its heroine, is beautiful and seemingly haughty, Lord Carnal, the villain, well, his name is no lie.

Well worth reading, if you love classic romance and adventure. Also, a new movie will be released Winter 2012.
