The story, written as if you are in conversation with the author, tells of the mysterious death of a wife and the resulting haunting of her former home.

An interesting story of how an American family deals with our country's entry into World War I--the shallow & selfish mother, the silent & proud father, the wastrel son. It is a fascinating character study, and a good read!

A very intriguing story with captured damsels, opium dens, Scotland Yard, and mysterious strangers, all overlaid with the mystery and exotic atmosphere of London's Chinatown. A very entertaining read!

Very sweet and charming collection of short stories involving children. It will bring a tear to your eye and a catch to your throat. The stories are of little girls and boys who would like to be loved.

Highly recommended. Like the ghost in the story, you don't realize how psychologically thrilling it in until after you've ready it.

I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the story. It unfolds gradually, but really keeps you guessing. The ending is divine!
