The unassuming young man finds that by applying good principles and practices in life brings about opportunities.

I like the old novels because they portray the best in Human Nature and character. No self indulgence or self pity and with a lot of standards and morality. This has a heavy dose of romantic wealth accumulation ie rags to riches morality, but it is a fun read with nice doses of excitment.
