just finished this great book last night. Ever since seeing the 70's movie i always loved the story. The most recent movie was great too. And i liked the way it finished with albert being revealed as dantes son, explaining why mercedes married fernand, and mercedes and dantes ending up together. The count never expressed any love for haydee, even at the end really. Was surprised and a little disappointed at the ending. Still, a great read.
