This is a well told story in which the author, Grant Balfour, takes the reader on a imaginative look into the life of Saint Nicholas’ mother.

Once I started reading this story I couldn’t put it down. The author not only looks at the life of Saint Nicholas’ mother, he does so in a way that gives some insight into persecution of the early followers of Christ during the Roman empire.
