Simple short story, a good way to get used to his style of writing. I had to read it twice to fully absorb this old style of writing.
A short story of a man that enforces justice on the man who sought to have killed. Sabatini writes overelaborately in all his books, so this short story would be a great introduction to his style to see if you would be interested in reading his larger works.
This was a very good short story, very much in the style of Dumas. It's about a Cardinal, though, not a bishop. :0)
