Is There A Book With A Female Hero Journey Similar To Luke Skywalkers?

I'm sure there are people who would disagree, but my favorite books featuring a heroine's journey are the Mistborn ones by Brandon Sanderson. The journey of a character named Vin is a fascinating one as she goes from being a common street urchin to discovering her "Allomantic" powers and strengthening them through intense training. I don't want to reveal any spoilers, but the position where she ends up after a few books is in stark contrast to where she started out and makes for a roller-coaster ride.
So far I have only come across one book that not only has a heroine that could live up to the legacy of Luke Skywalker but actually surpass it in many ways. Her journey is an inspiration to woman all around the world and proof that with hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that the book isn't a work of fiction either, but based on a true story. The book to which I am referring is of course "Selfish" by Kim Kardashian and I read it cover to cover at least once a day to remind myself that we are living in an golden age of quality writing.
The whole "hero's journey" is a pretty popular trope in all forms of media, so you won't have to look very far to find it in literature. Of the top of my head I can think of the Dust Lands Trilogy by Moira Young as well as a Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle.
In general there are quite a few books, especially in the young adult genre, where it is a heroine that goes on the so called hero's journey. If you are specifically referring to a book that mirror Luke Skywalker's journey, then I urge you to check out the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn, its sequels "The Hand of Thrawn" and the Legacy of the Force series by different authors. The reason for this is that they are not just Star Wars novels, but star one of the greatest female characters in the expanded universe; namely Mara Jade. It is a crying shame that Disney discarded the whole expanded universe and opted for a bland character like Rey instead of Mara Jade, but that's an argument for another day. Starting out as an special agent for the Empire she eventually becomes a smuggler, trains in the ways of the force and even becomes involved with Luke Skywalker himself. She is a very strong character, but not without her flaws, which makes her more relateable than Rey and her journey is every bit as thrilling as the one Luke had.
