Los bandidos sintieron moverse algo dentro de su pecho, pues se miraron unos a otros...; y viendo que todos estaban pensando la misma cosa, uno de ellos se atrevió a decirla....
30 --¿Qué dijo?--preguntó el Capitán general, profundamente afectado por aquel relato.
--Dijo: «Caballeros, lo que vamos a hacer no lo sabrá nunca Parrón....»
--Nunca..., nunca...--tartamudearon los bandidos. (p8)
--Márchese V., buen hombre....--exclamó entonces uno que hasta lloraba.
Yo hice también señas al segador de que se fuese al instante.
El infeliz se levantó lentamente.
05 --Pronto.... ¡Márchese V.!--repitieron todos volviéndole la espalda.
El segador alargó la mano maquinalmente.
--¿Te parece poco? (gritó uno.)--¡Pues no quiere su 10 dinero![8-1]--Vaya..., vaya.... ¡No nos tiente V. la paciencia!
