When angels sin, humanity will pay the ultimate price
Homicide detective Alexandra Jarvis is up against a serial killer unlike any she’s ever known. She has neither time nor patience for the new partner abruptly assigned to her. Especially when that partner is arrogant, high-handed, and intent on getting in her way at every turn. And there’s something about him—something she thinks she sees in him—that’s starting to make her question her grip on sanity.

Aramael is not the fellow detective Alex thinks he is. But then again, Alex isn’t who she thinks, either. Or what. Aramael can’t tell her how critical it is to protect her from the fallen angel she’s hellbent on catching. He can, however, do his damnedest to stop his brother’s murderous scheme.

But the tension flaring between them—along with Alex’s uncanny ability to see Aramael for who he really is--puts his mission in serious jeopardy. Can they find a way to work together to capture the Fallen One? Or will their unholy dance trigger a war that could devastate humanity?
