About the time we finished the battle of breakfast, Jim came back with word from Professor Jordan.
"Dad, I don't think the professor believed me, but he's on his way here."
"Well, thank the Lord," I exclaimed. "Did he think you were completely out of your head?"
"Not exactly, but he did think I might be exaggerating just a little, I think."
"When will he get here?" Mary asked.
"He said he'd catch a plane out of there as soon as he could, and it's only a two and a half hour flight, mother."
"Then he'll be here this afternoon?" I asked.
"He seemed to think he would."

Jimmy comes home from MIT and invents an anti-gravity panel whose effects don't stop when you turn it off.
It's a mildly amusing story full of stereotypes. I could see it acted out by the cast of the Ozzie and Harriet Show.

Interesting, but unremarkable, story of a kid who invents a way to beat gravity, with unexpected results. Not great sci-fi by any stretch of the imagination, but easy to digest if you\'ve got a little time to squander.

So-so. It was a "cute" story, but nothing to write home about.

I have not read this book but, by just looking at the short summary I can tell this is my kinda book!
