A classic adventure novel, often considered Dumas' best work, and frequently included on lists of the best novels of all time. Completed in 1844, and released as an 18-part series over the next two years, Dumas collaborated with other authors throughout. The story takes place in France, Italy, and the Mediterranean from the end of the rule of Napoleon I through the reign of Louis-Philippe.

A very good read that embodies all emotions that everyone can relate to; love, happiness, grief, anger, bitterness, hope...everything.

Thanks a million to Manybooks.net . I'm an English Literature student of Gadjah Mada University (Yogyakarta, Indonesia), who will write a graduating paper about this book. However, I did not find any printed version of this book in any library in my town, therefore I am so happy to find this site. Now I can start my graduating paper as I've downloaded the book's pdf. Incredible. I can safely say that this is the best book I've ever read. Alexandre Dumas is literary genius, this book is so thought provoking that I will no doubt read and reread this book.
My only problem with the ending was it came too soon, if only he had written a sequel.

this book was too fantastic.I feel sorry for whom that not read this novel.This novel full of depression.I like the way of Edmond(The Count)that are patient for his vengeance.
