A rather simplistic tale in which a man fights against a space monster. There was enough repetitive text in the beginning that I seriously doubt this work ever went under the knife of a professional editor.

Worth a read, but overall disappointing.
A chase story between a human and a silicon-based life form. The thing's daylight immobility never gets explained, and there are a few convenient loopholes, but it held my attention without expanding the limits of my mind.

The writing is craftsmanlike.
