I liked the story a lot, am looking forward to the next book. While I wouldn't expect everything to be resolved in the first book of a 4 book series this one was very abrupt. It left me searching the website, trying to see if I missed something. Being an open ebook I thought maybe I was reading it before it was finished but as the paper copy is already being sold I would assume not. I may buy them both after reading the second.

While the dialogue is at times simple, the overall vision of the book is as engaging as Gibson or Stephenson. At some points the writing style is clearly influenced as if by an action movie, while the characters are real and likable, and their archetypes are strikingly similar to those in popular culture. Worth a read and can't wait for the next evolution of this story.

An interesting look at a possible cyberpunk future of nanotechnology. If you read The Diamond Age and wondered how mankind got from today to there, this might have been how it happened.
The ending is a bit abrupt and annoying, but this is intended as the first book in a trilogy - it is not THE END.
The author is relying on public response to edit the work, since this is a FREE book made available through Creative Commons and therefore there is no money to pay a dedicated editor. It is worth reading for science fiction/cyberpunk fans who are interested in furthering free espression and hearing thoughts from a new voice.

This is a very interestiong concept told in a very un-professional manner. The Plot needs work, the text needs another two rounds of editing, and the finish is trite and unsatisfying.
I do not reccommend this book to anyone until these problems are corrected.
