At first he thought he was at the bottom of a deep well and he lay quite still, his eyes clamped shut, wondering where he was and how he could possibly have gotten there. He could feel the dampness and chill of the stone floor under him, and nearby he heard the damp, insistent drip of water splashing against stone. He felt his muscles tighten as the dripping sound forced itself against his senses. Then he opened his eyes.

The problem is that there are a number of doors in the story. Some are real, some are illusions, and some are imagined. It's an okay story, well-written, with one or two good characters, but I'll be damned if I know what parts were real and which were faked. Without a clear reality to base the story in, it just becomes a free-floating puzzle.
* You discover something behind the dark door.
* Now, something is after you and wants to kill you.
* You must hide or go out an clear up the situation.
* But, someone is playing with your mind.
* What is real and what is not?
