er merely whetting your appetite. We wish you to get these seven principles well fixed in your mind, so that you may be able to understand the terms when we use them later on.

3. Prana, or Vital Force.

We have said something of Prana in our little book, "The Science of Breath," which many of you have read. As we said in that book, Prana is universal energy, but in our consideration of it we will confine ourselves to that manifestation of Prana which we call vital force. This vital force is found in all forms of life - from the amoeba to man - from the most elementary form of plant life to the highest form of animal life. Prana is all-pervading. It is found in all things having life, and as the occult philosophy teaches that life is in all things - in every atom - the apparent lifelessness of some things being only a lesser degree of manifestation, we may understand that Prana is everywhere, in everything. NAMASTE,
Thank God for the internet and thank God for this website.
Ramacharaka was my guru before I knew what a guru was. I stumbled upon his books at "The Bodhi Tree" when I was 30 years old. I'm 63 now.

Ten years ago, all my belongings were stolen, including my collection of books printed by The Yogi Publication Society. These books are no longer in print, so it was a great loss to me and I'm overjoyed to find Ramacharaka's works on this website, and to discover Ramacharaka is William Atkinson. Can you imagine, of course I read William Atkinson's books and marveled at his wisdom which I felt at the time was "just as good as Ramacharaka...lol

Very shortly after I began studying and practicing Ramacharaka's teachings I was led to Swammi Muktananda and became a member of Siddha Yoga, that's when I realized that my firt Guru was really Ramacharaka. The teachings are the same because the truth is the truth, no matter where you find it.

Thank you for bringing Ramacharaka back to life in my life.

OM SHANTI

I own this book and have bought many through the years . When I was 21 I read ir for the 1st time with a spiritual teacher. I 'am now 51 and have read it over 18 times, ever time I get another level of it,s teachings.
The 1st 3 chapters are kind of slow reading but is needed to more fully understand the teachings as a whole. This book is not for everyone, I have give many through the years and a lot of people do not understand it,even thouugh it's very easy to read. It tell you the laws of the all that is .these laws are wrote in my belife system's.It you are one the path it.s a must have . Though you have to remember it was wrote over a 100 years ago with some adatude that is not reavent for this day and age. sorry for the spelling and grammer yet that not the important thing here the book is.
Thank you so much for putting it into ebook form. I hope the 8 books end up here all are good reading and just one a life time study.
May the spiritual teachers in and out of the body help light your path.
May your high power lead you on you journey to find out who you are.
