A small-town doctor, troubled by a mysterious gap in his memory, discovers he has a disturbing past, one that threatens the well being of a number of people in both his old life and his new. The story moves along well enough, but there's something awkward about it that seems not to ring true.
Dick Livingstone is a doctor in a small town who works hard and loves Elizabeth Wheeler. He came to their town 10 years before, but from where? What in his past was so awful that he blocked it out? And when he reaches his breaking point what will he find?

An interesting mystery story that I enjoyed.
I liked this book a lot. It has romance, suspense, and mystery, with a lot of twists and turns. It seemed like the story was over about half way through, but there was so much more to it. Enjoy!
