I came to this after reading Corvus (Lowe's other book on Many Books). Both are great reads and I thoroughly recommend anyone who enjoys this to go on and read Corvus which, for me is the better book.
A real find of a free author, I will be happy to pay for any further work of his. Comes in at the more literary end of Sci Fi think maybe a cross between William Gibson and Haruki Marukami. I found myself engrossed in the unfolding plot and enjoyed the characters. The book achieves the rare balance of deliberate sparseness allowing the readers imagination to contribute to the experience.
I look forward to his future works.
