I struggled getting through this classic. I disliked the main character and became frustrated and bored with his selfishness and obsession for beauty and youth. I was so happy to finally get to the end, just so I could check this off my list. I'm happy I made it through and can now understand references made to this book, but I struggled to complete it.
One of the books I didn't read until later on in life. The story of Jekyll and Hyde is so much better than anything portrayed in the movies. A real must read if you want to enjoy a dark and evil tale. Great book!
One of my favorites! This story has the perfect mixture of mystery and horror without the gore. Bram Stoker certainly knew how to tell a tale and keep the reader glued to the pages!
This was truly an interesting book. To me it was amazing that the topic of the treatment of slaves was tackled during that time period and even more amazing was it was written by a woman!! I do see why it made the "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die".

The main character, Siddhartha, is on the path looking for enlightenment and on that path he discovers so much about life and what it truly important.
Great story!
