The sublimity of feminine beauty was heightened to a new position by Ayesha, although, I think she did not deserve such a hideous destiny at the end, however it is a subjective opinion, and can be put aside in the assessment of the novel. Indeed, Ayesha with her exquisite gracefulness and mystic character, I got so attached to her, that my heart was ruptured by her ghastly destiny at the end.
As an adult - still a good tale and a worthwhile read
