I was astonished by the motives driven people to rate down this book. This is old. This is not to be read as a reference to Science studies, but to know more about the transformations of Science through the times. Come on people.
Very out of date and in parts almost metaphysical in character-bordering on the mystical.

It contains little-if any-useful data for the modern scientist or student.
