The Book
Book Excerpt
***
Vincent spent his morning practicing. By the end he could do the moves slickly. It felt awesome! He couldn't wait to show it off to his mum!
***
Vincent sat in class the next morning, watching the maths teacher tell them something about adding numbers together. It looked dull, and Vincent couldn't see why it could be useful to learn this. Didn't his dad just use a calculator to do stuff? It was pointless, and hard. He looked down at his hands underneath his desk. He'd been practicing the moves during the night. It was cool to be enjoying them. Normally Vincent hated dancing or anything like that, but he was curious what it was like to enjoy dancing, he was jealous of the people who looked like they were enjoying it. He was enjoying moving his hands like in the book.
