She puzzled over this for some time, but at last a bright thought struck her. 'Why, it's a Looking-glass book, of course! And if I hold it up to a glass, the words will all go the right way again.'

Such a charming tale for the dreams and hopes of your little ones and even older ones! A great novel by Carol, you will surely enjoy this twisty tale among the sweet and petite young Alice, mixed with the "Through the Looking Glass" also by Carol. The 2 novels you might have read and loved combined in one book, how charming! Will keep kids on the edge of their seat, wanting to know more. I used it for my English class last year, and they enjoyed reading it!
Outstanding book. Has been labelled by many as a children's classic but I wouldn't agree. This is even darker than Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and it has a much more richer and twisted assortment of characters. Carroll is at his finest here in his renditions of Jabberwocky. Easily would make it to the top 10 books I've read along with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Like most people, Alice is one of my childhood friends, but Through the Looking Glass is, in my opion, much better : more imaginative, more humourous...Don't miss it !
